Weightless are our holy words
with breaths from owlish darkness
our swooning shoulders cannot move
without thought, without poetry
We bury our fingers in the inner voice
to bring up the alchemy of water
where our empty body is pure energy
We scatter ourselves, moving light
with the serenity of our minds
we run through gates of sunshine
to find the words that move us
from brightness to blindness
Weightless, we are a unity of undoing
creating on seven strings the pillars of salt
that will crease the page as a pure sky
with wings of fire and gentle radiance
our words were meant to pour the oil of care.

I love the line- “we bury our fingers in the inner voice”
“Love” not “like” this poem but there is no button for that. Gorgeous photo, too!!
That’s a great complement! I really enjoy the site deviant art for photography..
Stunning. I do so love reading your poetry. Is it too cheeky to ask you whether you would be willing to write one for Project R? I don’t know if you have ever been asked to write “on demand”, but the theme of relationships seems to run through most of the poems you share, and it would be wonderful if were given the opportunity to share one with my viewers too.
In any case, thank you for writing and for being part of my daily sunshine and rain x
Hey there, what is project R?
Great opening lines!
Thanks I really try hard usually for last lines, not known for decent intro lines hehe
This is OMG breathtaking!!!
Thanks so much Chess, it does seem more polished than some of my other pieces.
Very deep and wonderfully written!
