Henceforth I am my own Good Fortune

Henceforth I am my own Good Fortune

What if, there were as many
Truths as there were lives
Let us celebrate them here
Whatever satisfies the soul

Is a kind of truth , then
My body is also divine
The beauty of independence
Walking, moving, smiling

This form that convinces with a presence
With senses as a human body was given
Evolved and sacred
When I give, I give myself

To celebrate the hour
The indiscernible freshness
Of living, here my voice is a poem
And I am curious about each one

I say to mankind, be not curious about God
But of each other, for
The Goddess of her is more intimate
Than the God of invisible salvation

Ever was, be merry
Satisfy the needs first
Then speak of metaphysics
A spirituality that loves the world

That is the audience of congregation
Those are who witness the miracles
Now I know the secret of being
To love, is the real artist in humanity.

Pioneer’s Anthem

4

I touch the leaves on grass
And embrace the wind
It’s change I feel
In my heart, young

As mountains
Old, as the handsome coasts
I’ve been everywhere

And I’m a bit a part
Of everything, the sky
And set sails to the sparkle
Of stars that dawn

On eyes that dance and laugh
I touch the soft hope
Of the future, rich minds

Loving creation the more
Intelligent they become
I love these woods
Where paths are few

The pure planets untouched
Valleys of golden surreal
The positive science of life

Where flesh and appetites
Are natural, where we can
Prosper pale and transparent
I can adapt to anything

Because my soul carries
The Love of Earth
Wherever I may go.

MY SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE STANDARD

16

i

You do not just hold my hand
You hold the affections of my Universe
Without one thing all would be useless
“Oneness”, unity, empathy, connection
Call it what you may, it’s here
After a life of being abandoned

ii

It’s by stealth and fire and trials
That we come to realize
We all belong and are carried eternally
Already you see I have escaped
From you, the drama, the mystery

iii

It’s all gone, I’ve come to an understanding
With the world, with existence
I’m determined to befriend everything
In a platonic ideal beyond appearances
That embraces all creeds, cultures, religions
So called separate divisions, all aliens

iv

You do not just hear my voice
You feel my spirit in my language
And that’s all I can ask for
Without this it would be useless
To attempt to communicate shared meaning.

SONG OF POETRY

15

i

All literature and anthologies
Celebrates what I assume you shall assume
For a unity of atoms in hearts
As distant as the big-bang to the furthest galaxy
Writing is then a leaning and a loafing
A waiting for poetry to start

ii

My tongue to my blood
My children to my ancestors
It all started from an original energy
That can still be observed in the summer grass
My soul speaks sometimes, so I listen
Across centuries, to a thousand poets

iii

I hear their songs in me, hoping for beauty
And the distillation of a lifetime of observation
I am mad for it to be in contact with me
The full-noon arpeggio of my greatest works
Perhaps I shall never discover the love-root
The undisguised heart of the language
Of the spirit for which I seek

iv

The mystic thrill beyond words surely
But I wait for the lyrics of a silk thread
For some golden and silver moment
When my vowels listen for greatness by the shore
And I steal a play of shine of forever
And infinity washes over me changing
My cells, my brain, my organs my expression
The meaning of poems is finally to be liberated.

Perfect Body of a Poem

15

O drops of me that trickle slow
The substance of my spirit
Last resort of Winter’s pause

That trickles for another Spring
I may never, unfold
Out of the fold of neurons

They are the inimitable poetry
Of the last woman, of my last year
Unfolded only by the finished inspiration

Of a lonely lifetime of writing
Unfolded, by the brawny embraces
Of mind pressing into words

With all the heart of great sympathies
O drops of me that end in blood
At last, I must give up this pen

To unfold out of the Folds
Of this humanity, will never do
There is too much to say

To ever write it in a poem
Though I admit the attempt
Was the poetic life of art for me.

Voice

105

Now I feel the leaf of voices
Nothing mightier than the Trees
The sky where no word is spoken
But the speaking of life; sun & earth

O what is it in me that lusts for voice?
Language, the hoping neurons in me –
Now I wish the water of voices
That traces the blood of perfect organs

The soul of ancestry that brought me here
Now I feel the crypt of voices
My temples struck by the depths
All wait for the right voices, for whose melody?

The water follows the moon in my
Ancient feeling, with fluid steps
Forever ready, as if to sing –
The ignorance of words is so so clear

The non-duality from which every utterance follows
Trapped in time, but it is still beautiful
To feel poetry in nature, mysticism in the wind.

Starlit Hour

93

This is the hour O Soul
Thy free flight into silence
Wordless bliss of non-duality
Apex of Oneness with all forms
This is the day O Soul
To reach into mysticism like never before

Thy inner sight into omniscience
The day erased of personality
The lessons done, the emerging
Identity of loving all equally
This is the week O Soul
Thy quantum array of transparency

Each cell and atom a divine release
Into the energy of uniform unity
This is the year O Soul
To wake the tenderest art
The meditation without goals
And the prayer without rewards

To freedom from attachment strive
Without striving, all is peace
The last surrender of all plans
The internal life of satchitananda’s poise
This is the hour O Soul
To wordless bliss and loving servitude

Identity of oneness always active
This is the Brahma-lifetime O Spirit
The sweet transcendence of non-identity.

Kosmos

131

The theory of life, well –
It is from the heart
That includes diversity, and unity
We exist in an amplitude of Nature

Cosmos and sexuality
The brain is our messenger
An audience of each other
The practice of living, well –
*
It is two by two, in proportions
Of realism – spirituality
Aesthetic, functional, intellectual
Moral, the theory of a community

Is a body connected to other bodies
Minds intermeshed with all minds
The theory of life, well –
I see generations connected by dots
&
Points of light in time, doing what
Is necessary to the flavours of the moment
Achieving Oneness for the multiplication
Of genes and memes, prayers to the stars.

Fractal Fabric of Experience

To the garden of the world
I hear your voice, with potent mates
Friends, amorous, mature

All beautiful to me, so much resurrection
In so few years, how can it be?
Wave after wave, souls of minds

Hearts of experience, following
Beauty, truth, the slumber of time
Unfolded out of spiral-folds

Out of the birth canal, wombs, brains
Unfolded out of strong ancestry
To the garden of the world

I hear your lies, with shifting governments
Enemies, corrupt, inconceivable
Still this land is beautiful to me

So much transformation, sympathy without justice
Years without greatness, shaping ourselves
Out of divine necessity, going back to the
Fields of the inimitable last clues of youth.

Portals of Consciousness

74

Only themeslves understand themselves
Only him and her, and him and her
And then some, not, wholly unknown
The mystery calms
The perfect understanding of souls

Not in visions pure
But in worldly experience
In poets to come, in mystic orators
Singers of the dawns, musicians of the heart

Only themselves understand themselves
What is she is she, and him is him
And then some, only in love
By grace ascended, athletic in unity

The mystery claims us all
The perfect understanding of souls
If only but to advance for a moment
Before decline, indicative that

The future is listening
In casual looks of children-minds
What are those of the known
But portals to enter the unknown
For him and her, and her and him
Them, us and prophetically all.

A Glimpse

A glimpse incessant caught
In specks of divinity
White and driving around sunsets
Naked in the thin air of morning
A glimpse of incandescent snow
The long mile of sailor’s foam
The beach of birthplaces calm
Intergalactic light shrill and warm
A glimpse of matter, speaking little
But telling all, telling more
Seating in himself a God
In an unmarked corner of the soul.

Last Unknown Road

This is thy holy hour, O Soul
The flight from endless words
To wordless bliss of aliens
And lessons done with peace

Night, sleep and stars
For your clear midnight
The roads unknown have led here
An impromptu faith of minutes

That led to some crimson divinity
Some heart-beat of God in everything
This is thy holy hour, O Soul
The deepest black of light

The crowd that formed of Beloveds
A unity of generations of people
Like lit moving candles in water
The light that was always the same

From the same star, for the unique evolution
Of all we were and did in these states
In this body of hope, a dim-lit creativity.
